Go through your Orientation and pick up a key fob
All members must go through an Orientation before they are granted access to Lowell Makes. Orientation is held every Wednesday during Open House, Wednesday 6-8pm. To learn more, keep scrolling down, or click the link above.
Basecamp is out message board and it an important part of our community. You must be invited to join the Lowell Makes Basecamp by a current member. Click the link above to learn more
Get Checked Out in one shop, or many!
Lowell Makes is a collection of several distinct work areas called “shops.” Each shop can have its own rules or safety check-out processes. You must be trained, or tested on your skills, before you can use the equipment at Lowell Makes. Each shop has specific requirements to get checked out. Pick a shop, ask or read about the requirements, then set up a time to get Checked Out. Information on checkouts is available on the individual Shop Knowledgebase pages here on Notion.

Our monthly member’s meetings are a great way to meet your fellow members and get up to speed on everything happening at Lowell Makes! While it’s not required to attend, we do encourage everyone to join us each month on the First Tuesday of the month from 7-8pm. Click the link above or keep reading to learn more!

All new members must attend a REQUIRED New Member Orientation. These Orientations are offered every Wednesday from 6-8pm during out Open House. They take 20-30 minutes and will cover everything you need to know before you become a full member. Click the link below to pre-register. (The form says Tour Request, but it’s the same form to sign up for all Open House activities)
The Orientation and Onboarding packet linked below is the primary New Member document. We will go over it with you during your Orientation, but if you want to get a head start, you can check it out ahead of time.
