What is SpaceCom
As space is our most valuable commodity and is also our least regulated commodity, a standing committee (Space Committee) is needed to bring order to chaos.
SpaceCom Charter and Responsibilities

This committee shall have authority to regulate usage of all aspects of Lowell Makes (LM) space including:
- Regulate all aspects of LM space including
- Shop size (sq-ft)
- Shop location within LM
- Special storage requirements for shops
- Consider productive spatial changes relevant to the evolution & growth of LM
- Enforcing LM rules for space allocation.
- Parking tickets, SLA out of bound warnings, etc.
- Allocating size, location & potential storage solutions for shops
- Manage general storage
- Implement/ modify storage policy
- Enforce storage policy
- Consider member feedback about policies & implementation
- Removal & general cleanliness
- Schedule outside e-cycling, waste hauling, hazardous waste, metal recycling as needed and with treasurer approval.
- Manage โFree Stuffโ tables & ensure it is emptied every 2-3 weeks
- Manage โBox of Shameโ & ensure it is emptied every 2-3 weeks
- Coordinate & organize bi-annual clean up days
- Manage incoming physical donations
- Manage all SLA licensing
